Ayleita Marie Foxx
AFTER NINETEEN YEARS OF LIVING A LIE,
THIS INFECTED HUMAN CAN ONLY TELL US THEIR STORY
If you let me I could, I'd show you how to build your fences, set restrictions,
Seperate from the world, the constant battle that you hate to fight just blame the lime light,
Don't look up, just let them think there's no place else you'd rather be in now,
You can't turn back, because this road is all you'll ever have.

OVERALL PERSONALITY
There are really two sides to Echo when it comes to personality. Ther's the side of her that everyone knows best, and then there is that part of her she locks away and no one ever sees. But with Echo there is definitely more to them than meets the eye. The Echo hat everyone sees is cold and distant, emotionally detatched from everyone around her. She's sarcastic and always with some comment or another to put in. With her very dark sense of humor and closed of appearance most people tend to look the other way and do as Echo tells them, which is probably best for everyone in the end. She is a fighter and a rebel, always taking risks and doing things that could be potentially harmful to herself. She'll help anyone who needs it, but she never makes any lasting realtionships with anyone. Everyone knows Echo for her quick mind and intelligence, and even though she's only nineteen, she is one of the best scientists they have. Most people know who she is, but no body has ever seen the real Echo.
Behind all of the coldness and sarcasm Echo is a truly fun person to be with. She;s fun loving and full of energy, which nobody would guess by looking at her. She doesn't make many friends or relationshps otherwise because she's afraid they will be taken away. Echo is very bright and quick witted. She'd be ver protective of anyone she dared to hold close and can be a passionate person. She loves to live life to the fullest and do anything she can to have fun. She's a true adrenaline junky and sometimes doing crazy things to get an adrenaline rush can make her open up. She could make anyone smile, and if she ever let her als down a bit she could probably make a few close friends. But the fact is that she's scared, and now that she's just found out she's infected, she doesn't know what she'll do. She's not just that tough, cold hearted woman everyone sees. There's so much more to Echo if anyone would hnag in there long enough to knock down those walls.

OVERALL HISTORY

Ayleita Marie Foxx was born nineteen years ago on May thirteenth along with her broher Ayden. She was born to two upperclass, highly respected citizens, who have sadly been long erased from Ayleita's memory. They were overjoyed when they brought their babies home & seemed to have the perfect life.Making enough money to live very comfortably & then some in their big white house. Everything seemed to be set in perfection. But Ayleita's father had hidden a dark secret from everyone. He was part of an organization, the Russian Mafiya. It may seem funny at first. You may laugh, but this secret spelled disaster for the family of three. When Ayden and Ayleita were three years old her father wanted out. This didn't go over well at all with the organization. They threatened Ayleita's parents into staying. If they had tried to flee, their daughter would be killed along with them. Still, they planned to escape one way or another. But a spy overheard them dicussing their escape route. As punishment, and a way to keep Ayleita's father in the country, they kidnapped the now four year old little girl and her brother.
After this event Ayleita's parents didn't know what to do. They decided after a few months that there was no way they could steal Ayden and Leita back and escape with their lives. So they chose to flee, and come back for their children when it was safe for them to. Unfortunately, their plans became discovered once again and as they tried to escape in the night they were murdered. Ayleita and Ayden, who had captured the blackened heart of the Mafiya's leader, remined alive & lived with him . He spoiled the two. Neither didn't remember her birth parents and he became their only parent and a father to them. They were taught by the best private tutors in the country, they learned to play a great many instruments, learned more languages han most could name and were considered genius by many by the time they were 8 or 9. Both children were also trained in many kinds of maritial arts. Her 'father' soon realized that she was capable of doing many things, possily for his line of work as well. By fifteen, Ayleita was a trained killer, Ayden along wih her.
But she didn't want to kill, she wanted to do something else. Something better. Her brother didn't mind so much, and would do anything his father asked him to. One day, now almost sixteen, Ayleita got into an argument with her father. She didn't want to do the same kind of work that he was involved with. Ayleita wanted something more for her life. Even though she had a strong enough mind and distant personality to be an assasin or something similar, she didn't want to do it. He had her locked away into her big room. Ayden tried to talk to her, but Ayleita wouldnt hear it. She wasn't about to take this without a fight. She packed all the things she would need and she left that night. Her father sent people after her, but he wouldn't let her brother go. They caught up to her just before she reached the border, finding her on a train with a one way ticket. There was quite a fight trying to get her back, and three of the five men died, one terribly injured. When the fighting ended, the one remaining men skipped off the train to go backhome and tell Ayleita's brother & father what had happened. The injured man didn't make it very far. Ayleita had fallen and hit her head hard on the metal train floor. She was knocked unconcious and they thought she had died, with such a low pulse. Her father grieved for her and even sent out more men, sure she couldn't be dead. Her broher went with them this time.
A day later Ayleita woke up. She was in the middle of a city with no idea where she was, who she was or what she was doing there. A group of kids found her, all about her age or older, who were runaways as well, only Ayleita didn't know she was a runaway. They didn't trust her at first, but one kid stood up for her. His name was Alex. They became good friends & they were nearly inseperable after a few das. He tried to help her with her memeory loss, but nothing helped and after another half a year, she stillcouldn't remember anything. Because she was always putting in her sarcastic comments, and backed up everything Alex said, all the kids called her Echo. That's the only name she knows& it's all she goes by. Soon though the virus came and one by one the runaways were picked off. then it was only Echo and Alex. They never left eachother's sides and together they survived. Now Echo was almost seventeen, or so she guessed. But very quickly, they had Alex too. Echo screamed and screamed for them to come take her too as she wandred alone for days and days. That's how the scientists found her. One of them took her back to the hideout. They soon discovered her hidden talents and intelligence and decided to use it to their advntage. She's been with them for almost two years now. Never forgetig Alex she works hard as a sort of tribute to him for not being there when heneeded her most. She doesn't make lasting relationships becase she's afraid they'll all get taken away too.
Now, Echo has only just discovered the fact that she's infected. Sh had been working with one of the infected a fewmonths ago. He had appeared to have some sort of resistance to the virus at first. He managed to scratch Echo once as he thrashed about in the worst stages of the infection. He died shortly after. Echo didn't tell anyone about it and for a few months it appeared that she wouldbe fine. But now the symptoms are showing andEcho knows she's in deep. Soon she'll leave the scientists and hide somewhere deep in the abandonded city. But until then, she's going to work on finding a cure as much and as hard as she can.

How slowly the sun drifted through the sky, taking it's sweet time to dip below the distant hills. Why did it always turn out this way? Too many days before had the sun sunk all to quickly below the horizon when she had wished for only a few more moments of light. But now she wanted the sun to be gone and be done with daytime. When darkness enveloped the city was when Arabella came out to have her fun. So she sat there, at the head of the dining room table long fingers drumming impatiently against the wooden surface. This was absurd, how could there still be light out. Arabella's strange hazel eyes flashed over to glare at the light spilling across the floor from a nearby window. She watched it slowly receding, fingers still on the table now. After a few minutes a smile spread slowly across the vampire's face, tugging mischeviously at her crimson lips. In a flash of white she was standing before the front door, arriving within half-seconds of leaving the table. A slave who happened by started as she appeared seemingly from no where to stand there before the doors.
Ara peered at him out of the corners of her eyes, grinning widely at the poor man. He nearly jumped two feet before taking off hurridly in the direction from which he'd come. This vampire was known for her rather sadistic ways with her prey, and the human slaves attempted to avoid her at all costs. Of course if Arabella had really wanted to she could have had that man screaming in a matter of seconds, but that was not what her mind was set on at the moment. Biting her lip Arabella bounced on her heels excitedly, like a child waiting for a present, as she watched to sunlight fade, then finally die out through a crack in the door. She giggled, and eerie, whispery sound and slowly edged the door open. Of course Arabella was not afraid of sunlight. It would probably have no effect on her, but darkness was always her preference. Ever since that fateful day, it seemed nothing in Ara's life held light any longer. The girl herself was no longer the same as she once was. That joyful, bubbly light had vanished long ago from her golden eyes, replaced now with a dark, sadistic flame that burned ever more brightly as darkness washed over the scene before her.
With another eerie giggle Ara slipped out of the building completely, glowing in the moonlight. She made her way across the lawns gliding towards her favorite haunting place. Little Rowan Park. An evil grin still lingering on her pale face, Ara breezed past a couple, circling them once, they froze with fear. She stopped suddenly before them, flashing her fangs in a grin, she let out a low growl. The couple screeched with horror and ran off never looking back once at the ghostly figure that had now burst into a fit of silent laughter. This was how she got her kicks. Scaring the life out of anyone and everyone who crossed her unfortunate path. Evil eyes glowing she set off again, the park within her sight now. She glimpsed movement on the jungle gym as she approached the gates and her smile grew impossibly wider. Ara drifted along, taking her time as the children didn't seem to be leaving the park within the next few minutes. She was sure she looked more like a ghost than she ever had before with her pale skin and snow white hair shimmering in the moonlight.
Her little white dress brushed softly against her thighs, her tiny white ballet flats silent on the asphalt of the basketball courts that she now crossed. The children spotted her before she reached the jungle gym, which was what Arabella had planned. If she had wanted to remain unseen, simply enough no one would have noticed her prescence, vampire nor human. The two small children did double takes, both staring wide eyed at Arabella floating towards them now. They glanced at eachother, wondering what to do. Run? Or stay and see? Curiosity held the both of them in place, eyes and mouths wide open as they continued to stare. Her timing flawless of course, Ara waited a second longer before flashing over, a ghostly blur of white, to sit crossed legged atop the jungle gym. She smiled down at the children, one boy, one girl, her golden eyes bright. They glanced at eachother again the looked quickly back to the spectral figure sitting above them. Giggling Ara spoke, something she hardly ever did anymore, being a near full mute.
"Hello there," She said, her voice a haunting whisper. The children could only stutter in response, mummbling nonsense, both a bit fearul of the little white lady before them now. Ara laughed low in her throat, leaning forward to get closer to the boy and girl. She flashed a brilliant smile at them, fangs and all, watching realization hit home at last on the tiny faces. They scrambled over one another to get away from the vampire, but she was in front of them before they could blink. She leaned down at the waist, hand behind her back and gazed into their terror filled eyes. "Yes... All of your worst nightmares... They're real lovies... And they're out there..." She whispered, her strange accent audible. Her grin returned as she watched the two run away, screaming for help. She chased them for a minute, before appearing back at the top of the jungle gym. Arabella sat there, eyes bright as she searched the shadows for more fun, waiting for the trouble to find her.
