history:
James first came in touch with the infection when he was 12. It all happened when he was attacked by a vampire, five years ago. James' father, Richard, tackled the vampire right as it tried to infect James and somehow managed to come out of the tussle victorious. James had let out a cry of delight and rushed towards his father when Richard roared "NOOO!" Richard had been bitten by the vampire, and his immune system was straining to fight of the virus. After a few minutes of painful agony, Richard's body shut down, as it was unable to cope with the deadly virus. James realized that the vampire's teeth had pierced his skin, but thought nothing of it until after his father's funeral, two days later.
That night after the funeral, symptoms of the virus began to show in James. His body was summoning all of the energy it could to throw of the deadly disease. James came close to death's door more than once during the year-long battle between life and death. Finally, the virus was overthrow and dominance was once again asserted by James. Scientists examined him and declared his body a "medical marvel": there was no sign at all of the virus anywhere in his body, dormant or alive. They did notice, however, that he grew stronger than before he was attacked. His eyes stayed the same shade of icy blue and his dentures were the same as ever, but he became very muscular/strong for his age. He was given the status "half-blood," but is referred to as "human" by the vampires.
James has spent most of the last few years honing his skills and fighting vampires.

I knew it! She's a physic. I guess while I'm wet I could.... Suddenly, small bits of electricity began to ripple across Sesu's body, almost like tiny bits of rope. All of the sudden, they all directed downward, and disappeared into the ground. Well, I'm dry... Okay, what you're about to see comes as a bit of a shock to most. At the word "shock" more liquid glass began to form from the ground and float up to surround Sesu. He formed a hand seal, and it all solidified around him. He rapped on the glass, and then formed another hand seal and watched the glass liquify. At a slight motion from his hand, it formed into a long javelin, and then into a shield.
My clan is able to pour lightning chakra into the ground and form glass from the superheated sand and ground. Since we have chakra imbued in it, we can control it in all forms. It's very useful for a quick shelter, or a defense, or even a weapon. Pretty much, we just have absolute control over the glass.
She reads minds? And can see the future? Sounds much like what you'd expect out of Konoha nin.

James obtained his black belt at the age of 12, simply a few months before the attack.
James entered the US Army for a short while before leaving to go solo. It was from the Army that he obtained his talents with guns, ammo, explosives, etc.
